Secure, convenient access control is easy with the KSI silicone-covered wristband.  Hospital-grade and disinfectable, our wristband is designed for contactless authentication of healthcare providers.  The wristband features an integrated NXP MIFARE® DESFire EV3 chipset compatible with KSI peripherals featuring RFID readers — including our RFID security keyboards and standalone pods.  KSI wristbands provide clinicians with a convenient, secure, and hygienic means to log into healthcare networks while providing patient care.  With its durable, tamper-resistant design, the wristband stands up to continuous use and is an important part of a hospital’s robust identity management strategy.

Our new wearable helps keep hospital workers’ hands free so they can focus on patient care.  Its always-on design makes it less likely to be lost or stolen, when compared to traditional badges.  KSI’s multipurpose band can also be programmed for other uses, such as time and attendance, building access control, and more.

KSI-WRISTBAND features next generation MIFARE® DESFire technology, compatible with NFC, 125 MHz, and 13.56 MHz RFID readers.  Our solution is easily integrated into existing healthcare systems, offers fast, secure encrypted data transmission, and helps prevent insider man-in-the-middle attacks.  Versatile as a wearable, the wristband can be worn beneath various fabrics and latex gloves, ensuring its functionality in healthcare settings.
