Description

Our full-sized 2000 series CodeRed downtime workstation keyboard offers a strong visual cue that a workstation is a designated downtime workstation, used in instances of power outage and scheduled server maintenance.  Clinicians are able to easily identify which workstations IT has designated as downtime workstations.

Designed for infection control and patient health information security, the KSI-2000 SX HFFFB-21 RED is a hospital-grade, disinfectable keyboard with integrated proximity card reader, fingerprint biometric reader, and our patented LinkSmart® cleaning button.

The keyboard features a durable, impervious silicone surface that prevents the growth of harmful bacteria.  The perfect size for placement on medical carts, productivity never suffers when using the KSI 2000 series during patient bedside care.

A simple push of KSI’s LinkSmart® cleaning button is all it takes to temporarily disable keys while an end user disinfects the keyboard surface.  San-a-Key® software’s onscreen, animated keyboard schematic then guides keyboard cleaning until the entire surface is clean.   Hospital administrators can count on user-defined, scheduled cleaning options and pop-up reminders pushed to all desktops to ensure KSI keyboards are kept clean 24/7.

The keyboard’s integrated rf IDEAS WaveID® Plus proximity card reader and HID® fingerprint reader are compatible with leading healthcare single sign on authentication platforms, including Imprivata®, HealthCast, and many more.  The proximity card reader now reads four credential types, an enhancement over our legacy -16 product line.  Credential types can be configured in the specific priority order you choose.  The keyboard’s integrated HID® fingerprint reader provides the first factor in two-factor authentication required to meet ePrescribe compliance.
