Our standalone security pod provides an unprecedented level of security in one compact device. The KSI-1900 HFFFB-21 is compliant with DEA ePrescribe (EPCS) and I-STOP regulations. An HID® 500 dpi silicon-surfaced biometric fingerprint reader and rf IDEAS WaveID® Plus contactless card reader provide foolproof dual authentication in one space-saving design. Together they secure the desktop with multifactor authentication that is mission critical to protecting patient health information. Our compact pod is compatible with Bio-Key®, Imprivata®, Oracle®, and many other leading SSOs — an ideal solution for healthcare workstations and medical carts.
The pod’s integrated rf IDEAS Wave ID® Plus proximity card reader now reads four credential types, an enhancement over our legacy -16 product line. Credential types can be configured in the specific priority order you choose.
