Multifactor Authentication
The KSI-1802R SX HCFFFB-21 meets DEA-mandated two-factor authentication required for electronic prescribing. Factor one is met with use of Imprivata® Confirm ID, that offers hands-free mobile authentication. Factor two is met with integrated HID® fingerprint biometrics. The keyboard’s integrated rf IDEAS Wave ID® Plus dual frequency proximity card reader reads four credential types instead of two, an enhancement over our legacy -16 product line. Credential types can be configured in the specific priority order you choose. The contactless reader is compatible with Imprivata® OneSign and other leading healthcare SSOs. Compatibility with Imprivata® Proximity Aware offers convenient logoff security.
San-a-Key® Infection Control
KSI’s patented LinkSmart® cleaning button temporarily disables keys for easy disinfection using EPA-approved germicidal wipes. No-cost San-a-Key® client software provides an onscreen, animated cleaning guide, cleaning push reminders, and user-defined, scheduled cleaning. San-a-Key® enterprise version generates analytics that allow administrators to know when, where, and by whom KSI keyboards are cleaned on an enterprise-wide basis.
