Description
Designed for infection control and patient health information security, the KSI-1700 SX FFFB is a hospital-grade, disinfectable keyboard with integrated biometric fingerprint reader and our patented LinkSmart® cleaning button. The keyboard features a durable surface with low-profile keys that discourage the collection of dirt and germs beneath and around keys.
A simple push of KSI’s LinkSmart® cleaning button is all it takes to temporarily disable keys while an end user disinfects the keyboard surface. San-a-Key® software’s onscreen, animated keyboard schematic then guides keyboard cleaning until the entire surface is clean. Hospital administrators can count on user-defined, scheduled cleaning options and pop-up reminders pushed to all desktops to ensure KSI keyboards are kept clean 24/7.
Perfect for placement at shared workstations, the keyboard’s integrated HID® biometric fingerprint reader is top quality and compatible with leading healthcare single sign on authentication platforms, including Imprivata®, HealthCast, and many more. The KSI-1700 SX FFFB provides the first factor of two-factor authentication required by the DEA to process electronic prescriptions.
